Generally, there are four kinds of materials used for making cnc engraving and cutting tools, N/A/AA/AAA series. A series material is Taiwan s chunbao tungsten steel, HRC of material to be processed is 45. The better the material, the higher the hardness, the more wear-resistant, service life would be greatly extended. The stronger the rigidity, the cutting tool will not be easily deformed during processing, the processing effects are better. The finer the tungsten steel s particles, the sharper the polished edge, the processing effects are also better.

Materials:
At present, we have A, AA, 3A, kinds of materials. The N series material stands for tungsten steel material made in China and its rigidity is at 88-89HRA (Rockwell Hardness, A Scale). The A series stands for that made in Taiwan and rigidity at90-91HRA. The AA and 3A series stand for German ultrafine tungsten steel, the AA’s rigidity is at 93-94HRA and the 3A is at around 96HRA. The better quality of material id, the higher rigidity and durability as well as materially longer lifespan. The stronger rigidity it is, the bits won’t distort during process and give better processing effect. And the more fine tungsten steel’s particle is, the sharp bits of the blade polished as a result for better processing effect.
